And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and there went out a fame of him, thro' all the region round about.

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as you see me have.

After these things, Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, the sea of Tiberias,

And the same day, in the evening he saith to them, Let us go over to the other side.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he might sift you as wheat.

For I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came, and testified of the truth that is in thee, as thou walkest in the truth.

Nicodemus answered and said to him, How can these things be?

I say to you, it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

And there was a certain man in Cesarea, named Cornelius, a centurion of that called the Italian band,

And they inquired among themselves, Which of them it was, that would do this?

Now while all the people were baptizing, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized,

After these things Jesus and his disciples went into the land of Judea, and there he tarried with them and baptized.

And when the time was fulfilled, that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

This therefore I say and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles, in the vanity of your mind:

And they brought little children to him that he might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those that brought them.

And about eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and James and John, and went up into a mountain to pray.

Brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, (lest ye should be wise in your own conceits) that hardness is in part happened to Israel, till the fulness of the Gentiles be come in:

And being asked by the Pharisees, When cometh the kingdom of God, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God, cometh not with observation.

Then come together to him the Pharisees and certain of the scribes, who came from Jerusalem.

And at that time there was a great persecution against the church, which was in Jerusalem. And they were all scattered abroad through the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Yea I think it right, so long as I am in this tabernacle to stir you up by reminding you:

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain: but ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

For when we sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But, beloved, be not ye ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

Jesus saith to her, Woman, what is it to me and thee?

And I wrote thus to you, that I might not when I come have grief from those for whom I ought to rejoice; being persuaded concerning you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.

And his disciples asked him, What is this parable?

They said therefore, What is this little while that he speaketh of? We understand not what he saith.

And Jesus went out and his disciples into the towns of Cesarea Philippi. And in the way he asked his disciples, saying to them, Whom do men say that I am?

Then Paul standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that ye are greatly addicted to the worship of invisible powers.

He proposed to them another parable, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing good seed in his field.

And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year, at the feast of the passover.

Having confidence of thy obedience I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say.

Jesus answered and said to her, Whosoever drinketh of this water, will thirst again.

Verily, verily I say unto you, Unless a grain of wheat that falleth into the ground die, it remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

And as he went to Jerusalem, he passed thro' the confines of Samaria and Galilee.

And Jesus wrought many other miracles also, in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.

And therefore the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he had done these things on the sabbath.

And this I say, He that soweth sparingly, shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully, shall reap also bountifully:

For with God, nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to thy word.

And as they spake thus, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith to them, Peace be unto you.

because he is his friend, yet, because of his importunity, he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you.

If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever, and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways smooth: And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

And they come to Jericho. And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, the son of Timeus, sat by the way-side begging.

And the ruler of the synagogue, being much displeased, because Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, answered and said, There are six days, in which man ought to work: on these therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath.

And he went afterward to a city called Nain, and many of his disciples went with him and a great multitude.

Now we know that whatsoever the law saith, it saith to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be found guilty before God.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? Which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And having done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net brake.

Again I say to you, That if two of you shall agree on earth, touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.

But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man that had the withered hand, Rise up and stand forth in the midst.

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter and James and John, and carrieth them up into an high mountain, by themselves apart, and was transfigured before them.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

And if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

Many of the Jews read this inscription; for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

And the Gentiles hearing it were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed.

For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth, and to another, Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doth it.

For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.

The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

And the angel said to them, Fear not; for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For I know this, that after my departure grievous wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

Jesus saith to her, Woman, Believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

After this he went down to Capernaum, he and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they tarried there not many days.

And Mary arose in those days, and went with haste into the hill-country, into a city of Judah,

So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat on the right-hand of God.

And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine is, which is spoken by thee?

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden by the Gentiles, till the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Now the feast of the dedication came on at Jerusalem: and it was winter.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene.

Now, while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him, seeing the city wholly given to idolatry.

And having said these things. he went before, going up to Jerusalem.

And he said to them, When ye pray, say, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done as in heaven, so on earth.

And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprung up, because it had no depth of earth.

And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something of them.
