Matthew 13:54-58 - Rejection At Nazareth
54 And coming into his own country, taught them in their synagogues, so that they were exceedingly struck, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these miracles? 55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56 and his sisters, are they not all among us? whence then hath he all these things? 57 And they were offended at him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not disrespected, except in his own country, and in his own family. 58 And he did not there many miracles because of their unbelief.
