Philippians 3:5-14 - Righteousness Through Christ

5 circumcised the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; as it respects law, a Pharisee; 6 as it respects zeal, persecuting the church; as it respects righteousness which is by law, blameless.

7 But the things which were gain to me, these I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yes, verily, I also count all things to be loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ, 9 and be found in him, not having my own righteousness which was by law, but the righteousness which is by faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith, 10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, by conforming myself to his death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

12 Not that I have already attained, or have already reached the goal; but I am pressing forward, that I may lay hold on that for which I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not conclude that I have already laid hold: 14 but one thing I do; forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forward to those which are before, I press toward the goal, for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
