Matthew 24:3-8 - Signs Of The End Of The Age
3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
3 And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, across from the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked Him privately, 4 Tell us, When shall all these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Beware that no one deceive you. 6 For many shall come in My name, saying, I AM, and shall deceive many. 7 And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled. For it must happen, but the end shall not be yet. 8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be earthquakes in different places, and there shall be famines and troubles. These things are the beginnings of sorrows.
7 And they asked Him, saying, Teacher, but when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when these things are about to take place?
8 And He said, Take heed that you are not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, I AM! Also, The time has come! Do not go after them. 9 But when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified, for all these things must first occur, but the end is not at once.
10 And He said to them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And great earthquakes shall be in different places, and famines and plagues. And there shall be terrors and great signs from Heaven.
