Proverbs 4:20-Proverbs 5:6 - Staying The Course
20 My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and perverse lips put far from you. 25 Let your eyes look directly forward, and let your eyelids look straight before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove your foot from evil.
1 My son, be attentive to my wisdom, and incline your ear to my understanding: 2 That you may preserve discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge. 3 For the lips of an immoral woman drop as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on sheol. 6 Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are unstable, that you can not know them.
