Revelation 8:6-13 - The Blowing Of The Trumpets

⁶ And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow their trumpets.

⁷ And the first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and it fell upon the earth; and the third part of the earth was burned up, and the third part of the trees, and all the green grass.

⁸ And the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and a third part of the sea became blood; ⁹ and a third part of the living creatures in the sea died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

¹⁰ And the third angel blew his trumpet, and there fell from heaven a great star, blazing like a torch. It fell upon a third of the rivers and upon the springs. (The name of the star is called Wormwood.) ¹¹ A third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

¹² And the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and the third part of the sun was blasted, and a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars; so that the third part of them should be darkened, and for a third part of the day there was no light, and at night it was the same.

¹³ And I looked and I heard a solitary eagle flying in mid-heaven, and crying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe for all who live on the earth, Because of the rest of the trumpet-blasts That the three angels are about to blow!"
