Matthew 26:1-5 - The Chief Priests And Elders Plot To Kill Jesus
1 When Jesus had ended this discourse, He said to His disciples, 2 "You know that in two days the Passover Feast will take place, and the Son of Man will be turned over to be crucified."
3 Then the high priests and the elders of the people met in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, 4 and plotted to arrest Jesus by stratagem and put Him to death. 5 But they kept saying, "It must not be at the feast, for a riot may break out among the people."
