12 Do for others the same as you would have them to do for you. That is the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.
13 Enter through the narrow gate, since the gate to destruction is wide and the road that leads to destruction is wide and many enter through it. 14 Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way to life. Only a few put forth the effort. Yes, only a few people enter the narrow gate.
