Chronicles 20:24-34 - The Lord Delivers Judah
And when Judah came to the watchtower in the wilderness, they looked at the multitude. And behold! They were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. 25 And Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their plunder, they found among them in abundance both riches and precious jewels in great number with the dead bodies, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away. And they were three days in gathering of the plunder, it was so much. 26 And on the fourth day they gathered themselves in the Valley of Blessing. For there they blessed Jehovah. And the name of the same place was called the Valley of Blessing until this day.
And they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy. For Jehovah had made them to rejoice over their enemies. 28 And they came into Jerusalem with harps and with lyres, and with trumpets to the house of Jehovah.
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that Jehovah fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was quiet. For his God gave him rest round about.
And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah, thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 32 And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and did not depart from it, doing the right in the sight of Jehovah. 33 But, the high places were not taken away, for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts to the God of their fathers.
And the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, which were taken up in the Book of the Kings of Israel.
