Matthew 24:32-35 - The Parable Of The Fig Tree
32 "Now learn what the story of the fig tree means. Just as soon as its branches grow tender, and put forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So when you see all these things, you will know that He is right at your door. 34 I solemnly say to you, the present age will not pass away before all this takes place. 35 Sky and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.
28 "Now learn what the story of the fig tree means. Just as soon as its branches grow tender, and put forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So when you see all these things taking place, you will know that He is right at the door. 30 I solemnly say to you, the present generation will not pass away before all this takes place. 31 Earth and sky will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
29 Then He told them a story: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When you see them shooting forth their buds, you know of yourselves that summer now is near. 31 So when you see these things taking place, you must understand that the kingdom of God is near. 32 "I solemnly say to you, this generation will not pass away before all this takes place. 33 Sky and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
