Mark 4:21-25 - The Parable Of The Lamp

Mark 4:21-25

21 And He said to them; Whether does the light come, that it may be placed under a bushel, or under a bed? is it not that it may be placed on a candlestick? 22 For there is nothing hidden which may not be made manifest; neither is there any thing concealed, but that it may come into the light. 23 If any one has ears to hear, let him hear. 24 And He said to them. See what you hear: with what measure you measure it shall be measured unto you: and it shall be added unto you who hear. 25 For whosoever has, it shall be given unto him: and he who has not, it shall be taken from him even that which he has.

Luke 8:16-18

16 But no one having lighted a candle covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but he places it on a candlestick, in order that those coming in may see the light. 17 For there is nothing hidden which shall not be made manifest; neither is there any thing concealed, which may not be made known and come into the light. 18 Therefore see how you hear: for whosoever may have, it shall be given unto him; and whosoever may not have, it shall be taken from him, even that which he seems to have.

Romans 4:21-25

21 and being fully assured, that whatsoever he has promised, he is able also to perform. 22 Therefore it was indeed imputed unto him for righteousness. 23 And it was not written on account of him alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 but on account of us also, to whom it is about to be imputed, who believe on him who raised up our Lord Jesus from the dead; 25 who was delivered on account of our transgressions, and raised for our justification.
