Matthew 12:9-14 - A Man With A Withered Hand Healed

⁹ And having passed on thence, He came into their synagogue. ¹⁰ And behold, there was a man having a withered hand. And they asked Him saying, Whether is it lawful to heal on Sabbath? that they might accuse Him.

¹¹ And He said to them; What man shall there he of you, who shall have one sheep, and if it shall fall into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not lay hold of it and lift it up? ¹² Therefore how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

¹³ Then He says to the man, Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored. ¹⁴ And the Pharisees, having gone out, took counsel against I Him that they might destroy Him.

¹ He came again into the synagogue, a man was there having a withered hand. ² And they were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, that they might accuse Him. ³ And He says to the man having a withered hand; Rise up in the midst. ⁴ And He says to them; Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath; to save life, or to kill? And they were silent. ⁵ And looking round on them with indignation, being grieved over the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man; Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored. ⁶ And the Pharisees, having gone out immediately along with the Herodians, took counsel against Him in order that they might kill Him.

⁶ And it came to pass on another Sabbath, that He came into the synagogue and taught, and a man was there, whose right hand was withered. ⁷ And the scribes and Pharisees were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, in order that they may find accusation against Him. ⁸ But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man having the withered hand, Rise up, and stand in the midst; and he having arisen stood. ⁹ And Jesus said to them, I will ask you; What is lawful on the Sabbath; to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy? ¹⁰ And looking around upon them all, He said to him, Reach forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored. ¹¹ And they were filled with rage; and they were talking one to another what they might do to Jesus.
