Matthew 12:9-14 - A Man With A Withered Hand Healed

Matthew 12:9-14

9 And having passed on thence, He came into their synagogue. 10 And behold, there was a man having a withered hand. And they asked Him saying, Whether is it lawful to heal on Sabbath? that they might accuse Him.

11 And He said to them; What man shall there he of you, who shall have one sheep, and if it shall fall into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not lay hold of it and lift it up? 12 Therefore how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

13 Then He says to the man, Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored. 14 And the Pharisees, having gone out, took counsel against I Him that they might destroy Him.

Mark 3:1-6

1 He came again into the synagogue, a man was there having a withered hand. 2 And they were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, that they might accuse Him. 3 And He says to the man having a withered hand; Rise up in the midst. 4 And He says to them; Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath; to save life, or to kill? And they were silent. 5 And looking round on them with indignation, being grieved over the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man; Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored. 6 And the Pharisees, having gone out immediately along with the Herodians, took counsel against Him in order that they might kill Him.

Luke 6:6-11

6 And it came to pass on another Sabbath, that He came into the synagogue and taught, and a man was there, whose right hand was withered. 7 And the scribes and Pharisees were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, in order that they may find accusation against Him. 8 But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man having the withered hand, Rise up, and stand in the midst; and he having arisen stood. 9 And Jesus said to them, I will ask you; What is lawful on the Sabbath; to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy? 10 And looking around upon them all, He said to him, Reach forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored. 11 And they were filled with rage; and they were talking one to another what they might do to Jesus.
