Mark 4:21-25 - The Parable Of The Lamp

Mark 4:21-25

21 And He said to them, "Is the lamp brought to be put under the measure, or under the bed! Is it not, that it may be put on the lampstand? 22 For there is nothing hid, except that it should be manifested; nor was anything made secret, but that it should come to light. 23 If any one has ears to hear, let him hear." 24 And He said to them, "Take heed what ye hear. With what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you; and more will be added. 25 For he that has, to him shall be given; and he that has not, from him shall be taken away even what he has."

Luke 8:16-18

16 "And no one, having lighted a lamp, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a lamp-stand, that those coming in may see the light; 17 for nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; nor hidden, that shall not be known, and become manifest. 18 Take heed, therefore, how ye hear; for whosoever has, to him shall be given; and whosoever has not, even what he seems to have shall be taken from him."

Romans 4:21-25

21 and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. 22 Wherefore also it was reckoned to him for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was reckoned to him; 24 but for ours also, to whom it will be reckoned, if we believe on Him Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered up for our trespasses, and raised for our justification.
