Matthew 13:31-32 - The Parable Of The Mustard Seed
31 He set forth another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of the heavens is like a grain of mustard plant, which having taken, a man sowed in his field. 32 Which indeed is smaller than all seeds, but when it is grown, it is greater than the plants, and becomes a tree, so as for the birds of the sky to come and lodge in the branches of it.
30 And he said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or by what parable shall we compare it? 31 It is like a grain of the mustard plant, which, when it is sown in the ground, is smaller than all the seeds upon the ground. 32 Yet when it is sown, it goes up and becomes greater than all the plants, and it makes great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under the shade of it.
33 And with many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it. 34 And he did not speak to them apart from a parable, but privately he explained all things to his disciples.
