Leviticus 25:18-22 - The Problem Of The Seventh Year

18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and my regulations, shall ye observe and do them, - so shall ye dwell upon the land with confidence; 19 and the land shall yield her fruit; and ye shall eat to the full, - and shall dwell with confidence thereupon. 20 And since ye may say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? Lo! we are not to sow, neither are we to gather our increase! 21 Therefore will I command my blessing upon you, in the sixth year, - and it shall make the increase of three years; 22 and ye shall sow, the eighth year, and eat of old store, - until the ninth year until the coming in of the increase thereof, shall ye eat old store.
