Galatians 3:21-Galatians 4:7 - The Purpose Of The Law Of Moses

²¹ Is then the Law against the promises of God? Far be it! For if a law had been given which was able to give life, righteousness would indeed have been by the Law; ²² but the Scripture shut up all under sin, that the blessing promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. ²³ But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the Law, shut up unto the faith which was to be revealed. ²⁴ So then the Law hath been our schoolmaster, to lead us to Christ, that we might be accepted as righteous through faith; ²⁵ but faith having come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. ²⁶ For ye are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus;

²⁷ for as many of you as were baptized into Christ, did put on Christ. ²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus; ²⁹ and if ye belong to Christ, then are ye Abrahams offspring, heirs according to the promise.

¹ Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth in no respect from a bondservant, though he is lord of all; ² but is under guardians and stewards, until the time appointed by the father. ³ So also we, when we were children, were in bondage under the rudiments of the world; ⁴ but when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, ⁵ to redeem those under the Law, that we might be adopted as sons. ⁶ And to show that ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father! ⁷ So then thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
