Galatians 3:21-Galatians 4:7 - The Purpose Of The Law Of Moses

21 Is then the Law against the promises of God? Far be it! For if a law had been given which was able to give life, righteousness would indeed have been by the Law; 22 but the Scripture shut up all under sin, that the blessing promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the Law, shut up unto the faith which was to be revealed. 24 So then the Law hath been our schoolmaster, to lead us to Christ, that we might be accepted as righteous through faith; 25 but faith having come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus;

27 for as many of you as were baptized into Christ, did put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus; 29 and if ye belong to Christ, then are ye Abrahams offspring, heirs according to the promise.

1 Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth in no respect from a bondservant, though he is lord of all; 2 but is under guardians and stewards, until the time appointed by the father. 3 So also we, when we were children, were in bondage under the rudiments of the world; 4 but when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 to redeem those under the Law, that we might be adopted as sons. 6 And to show that ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father! 7 So then thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
