Matthew 7:7-12 - The Sermon On The Mount: Ask, Seek, Knock

⁷ Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and ye will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. ⁸ For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, the door will be opened. ⁹ Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ or, if he ask for a fish, will give him a serpent? ¹¹ If ye then, though evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him! ¹² All things, then, whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye also so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.
