And one said to him, Lord, are there few that are to be saved? And he said to them,
Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which ye wrought, but receive a full reward.
What think ye? if a man have a hundred sheep, and one of them hath gone astray, doth he not leave the ninetynine upon the mountains, and go and seek that which hath gone astray?
That the saying might be fulfilled which he spoke, "Of those whom thou hast given me, I have lost none."
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer; for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
But he answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
For God is my witness how much I long for you all in the tender affection of Christ Jesus.
For whether we were beside ourselves, it was for God; or whether we are in our sound mind, it is for you.
And so if one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

And his relations hearing of it went out to lay hold of him; for they said, He is beside himself.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to make merry.
What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninetynine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he findeth it?
And if it happen that he find it, truly do I say to you, he rejoiceth over it more than over the ninetynine that did not go astray.
Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and ye will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
