Daniel 12:1-7 - The Time Of The Judgment And The Resurrection Of Two Groups
1 At that time Michael will stand up. He is the great prince who stands for the children of your people. There will be a time of trouble that has not happened since the beginning of nations. Then your people will be delivered, every one whos name is found written in the book. 2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who have wisdom (insight) will shine like the brightness of the firmament. They turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, O Daniel, keep the words secret, and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will run back and forth and knowledge will increase.
5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and, behold, there stood two others, one on the bank of the river on this side, and the other on the bank of the river on that side. 6 One said to the man clothed in linen, which was above the waters of the river: How long will it be to the end of these wonders? 7 I heard the man clothed in linen, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him that lives forever: It will be for three and one half years; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.
