Matthew 24:36-44 - The Unknown Day And Hour
36 Concerning that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels of the heavens, except my Father only. 37 But as were the days of Noah, so indeed shall be the coming of the Son of man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they did not know until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. 40 Then two men shall be in the field; one is taken, and one is left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left. 42 Watch therefore: because you do not know on what day your Lord cometh. 43 But know this, that if the landlord knew at what watch the thief cometh, he would have watched, and would not have permitted his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: because the Son of man cometh in an hour at which you do not think.
32 But concerning that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels who are in heaven, or the Son, but the Father. 33 Beware, watch; for you know not when the time is. 34 As a man, going away, leaving his own house, and giving authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and commanded the porter that he should watch. 35 Watch therefore: for you know not when the Lord of the house cometh, late, or at midnight, or at the crowing of the cock, or in the morning; 36 lest having come suddenly he may find you sleeping. 37 And the things I say to you, I say to all, Watch.
