Then the chief priests, and scribes, and elders of the people, were assembled in the hall of the high priest, called Caiaphas.
Taking Jesus they led Him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the chief priests and elders were assembled together.
But one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them,
And they led Him first to Annas; for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. And Caiaphas was the one counseling the Jews, that it is profitable that one man die for the people.
Then they lead Jesus from Caiaphas to the judgment hall: and it was morning. And they did not come into the judgment hall, in order that they might not be polluted, but that they might eat the passover.
