But when they deliver you, take no thought, how or what ye shall speak; for it shall be given you in that very hour what ye shall speak.

Then the soldiers, and the captain, and the officers of the Jews took Jesus and bound him;

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself, with the soldier that kept him.

So the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, Why have ye not brought him? The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

But Saul made havock of the church, entring into every house, and haling men and women, committed them to prison.

However having taken security of Jason and of the rest, they let them go.

And I saw an angel descending out of heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand. Then the tribune came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains, and inquired, Who he was, and what he had done?

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes and said, Father, the hour is come: glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh,

And they that had apprehended Jesus, led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

But the high priest arising, and all that were with him, which was the sect of the Saducees, were filled with zeal, And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them into the common prison.

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and coming upon him, dragged him away, and brought him to the council,

But when her owners saw, that the hope of their gain was gone, laying hold of Paul and Silas, they dragged them into the market-place to the magistrates,

And the whole city was moved, and the people ran together; and laying hold on Paul, they dragged him out of the temple: and immediately the gates were shut.
