is expressly forbidden (Tit 3:2; Jas 4:11), and severe punishments are denounced against it (1Co 5:11; 6:10). It is spoken of also with abhorrence (Ps 15:3; Pr 18:6-7), and is foreign to the whole Christian character and the example of Christ.

The one who does not malign with his tongue, do evil to a friend, or bring disgrace on his neighbor or close friend.
A fool's lips want to argue. His mouth calls for blows. A fool's mouth is his ruin. His lips are the snares of his life.
