"If you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve for six years; but on the seventh he shall go out as a free man without payment. 'Even if he is not redeemed by these means, he shall still go out in the year of jubilee, he and his sons with him. I appeal to Caesar." Then when Festus had conferred with his council, he answered, "You have appealed to Caesar, to Caesar you shall go."
