The word is ?????, 'to rejoice, to be glad:' hence do not 'greet' one who brings not true doctrine; say not to him 'Hail,' as in Lu 1:28; 2Jo 1:10-11.
Joshua instructed the leaders of the people: "Go through the camp and command the people, 'Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.'"
The angel came to her and said, "Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!"
