Morish
The Lord Jesus was emphatically 'the prophet of God,' whose coming was foretold in De 18:15,18. When on earth He said that the works which He did, and the words that He spoke, were not from Himself, but were what He had seen and heard of His Father. Joh 14:10,24. He was the perfect exponent of God's mind to the Jews (Ac 3:22; 7:37), and the proclaimer of God's grace to a guilty world. Lu 14:15-24; 2Co 5:19.

And one of them that sat at table with him, hearing these things, said to him, Happy is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. Believest thou not, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself; and the Father that dwelleth in me, he doth the works.
He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.
For Moses truly said to the fathers, The Lord your God shall raise you up a prophet of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things, whatsoever he shall say to you.
This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, The Lord your God will raise you up, out of your brethren, a prophet like me: him shall ye hear.
