Morish
The Lord Jesus was emphatically 'the prophet of God,' whose coming was foretold in De 18:15,18. When on earth He said that the works which He did, and the words that He spoke, were not from Himself, but were what He had seen and heard of His Father. Joh 14:10,24. He was the perfect exponent of God's mind to the Jews (Ac 3:22; 7:37), and the proclaimer of God's grace to a guilty world. Lu 14:15-24; 2Co 5:19.

And one of those reclining with Him, hearing these things, said to Him, "happy is he who shall eat bread in the Kingdom of God!" But He said to him, "A certain man was making a great supper, and invited many. read more. He who loves Me not, keeps not My words; and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's Who sent Me.
Moses, indeed, said, 'A prophet will the Lord your God raise up for you from among your brethren, as He did me; to Him shall ye hearken in all things, whatsoever He shall say to you.
This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, A Prophet will God raise up for you of your brethren, as He did me.
