In the Esdraelon or Jezreel plain, 15 Roman miles from Legio (Lejun): Eusebius, Onomasticon. The village Beit Kad, though exactly this distance, is not on the plain but S. of Mount Gilboa. Conder suggests 'Akadah as the site, on the western side of the great plain.
