Hananiah's descendants included Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, his son Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, and his son Shecaniah. Shecaniah's son was Shemaiah, and the six sons of Shemaiah were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
