VESTRY occurs only in 2Ki 10:22 'him that was over the vestry,' as the rendering of a word of uncertain meaning. Cf. 2Ki 22:14 'keeper of the wardrobe.'
He said to the one who was in charge of the wardrobe, "Bring out garments for all the worshipers of Baal." So he brought out garments for them.
So Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Achbor, Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter); and they spoke to her.
