THEN they led him from Caiaphas to the Praetorium. And it was morning; and they entered not into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the passover.

Then Pilate went into the Praetorium and called Jesus, and said to him, Are you the king of the Jews?

and entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Jesus, Whence are you? But Jesus gave him no answer.
