By the hand of Elasah son of Shaphan, and Gemariah, son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babel, into Babel) saying,

And Baruch will read in the book all the words of Jeremiah hi the house of Jehovah in the chamber of Gemariah son of Shaphan the scribe, in the enclosure the highest of the entrance of the new gate of the house of Jehovah, in the ears of all the people.

And Micaiah son of Gemariah son of Shaphan, will hear all the words of Jehovah from the book

And he will go down to the house of the king to the scribe's chamber, and behold, there all the chiefs sitting, Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan son of Achbor, and Gemariah son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the chiefs.

And also Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah supplicated to the king not to burn the roll: and he heard to them not
