That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the H2417 of the king, and of his sons.

But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any H2417, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.

This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the H2417 may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that H2417th for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the H2417 God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deH2417r thee from the lions?

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the H2417 God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their H2417s were prolonged for a season and time.
