Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.


We always give thanks to God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father. We know, brothers loved by God, that you are chosen,

As you know, we exhorted, comforted, and implored every one of you, as a father does his own children,







Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated, means Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'


Remember me, my God, concerning this, and don't wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its observances.

a woman came to him having an alabaster jar of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he sat at the table. But when his disciples saw this, they were indignant, saying, "Why this waste?

However, knowing this, Jesus said to them, "Why do you trouble the woman? Because she has done a good work for me.










and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

Jehoash did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

You shall not eat it; that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, when you shall do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.


make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

You shall do that which is right and good in the sight of Yahweh; that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which Yahweh swore to your fathers,

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
