Twenty years old, was Ahaz when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem. And he did not that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh his God, like David his father; but walked in the way of the kings of Israel, - moreover also, me made, his son, pass through the fire, according to the abominable practices of the nations, whom Yahweh dispossessed from before the sons of Israel;

Did not, I, keep silence even from age-past times, Although me, thou wouldest not fear? I, will expose thy righteousness, - And thy works - but they will not profit thee! When thou makest outcry, let thy gathered throngs deliver thee! But all of them, shall A wind, catch up - A breath, take away! Whereas he that seeketh refuge in me, Shall inherit the land, And possess my holy mountain.
