And Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day. Now Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.

And they buried Abner in Hebron; and the king lifted up his voice and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
