And all Israel heard of that judgment which the king had judged, and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to judge.

Then all the people answered and said, His blood be on us and on our children. Then he released Barabbas unto them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
