One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peters brother, saith to him, There is a lad here, who hath five barleyloaves, and two small fishes; but what are they among so many?

These came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus. Philip goeth and telleth Andrew; Andrew and Philip go and tell Jesus.


One of the two who heard what John said, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peters brother.

On the morrow John was again standing, and two of his disciples;


And he saith to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they immediately left their nets, and followed him.


And while walking by the lake of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the lake; for they were fishers.


He saith to them, Come, and ye shall see. They came therefore and saw where he dwelt; and they abode with him that day. It was about the tenth hour.


He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looking upon him said, Thou art Simon, the son of John; thou shalt be called Cephas; (which signifieth Peter, that is, Rock.)


These came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we wish to see Jesus. Philip goeth and telleth Andrew; Andrew and Philip go and tell Jesus.

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith to him, We have found him of whom Moses in the Law, and the Prophets wrote, Jesus, the son of Joseph, who is of Nazareth.
