Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.


Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

And immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.


Opening them up and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.











For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

And they of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Simeon has declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
