Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized by him: but John refused Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Permit it now; for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. read more.
Then he permitted Him. And Jesus as soon as He was baptized came up from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and coming upon Him:

And in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in Jordan: and as soon as He came up from the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him.
