Thematic Bible: Being made without an oath

And inasmuch as it was not without an oath that he was made priest, for they indeed have been made priests without an oath; but he with an oath by him who said to him, "The Lord swore, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever," by so much hath Jesus become the surety of a better covenant.
