Berechiah » Son of meshezabeel
For in Judah there were a number of people who had made an agreement by oath with him. For he was the son-in-law of Shecaniah, the son of Arah and his son Jehohanan had taken as his wife the daughter of Meshullam, the son of Berechiah.
By their side Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz, was making good the walls. There was Meshullam, the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel; and by him, Zadok, the son of Baana.
After him Hananiah, the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, were making good another part. After him Meshullam, the son of Berechiah, made good the wall opposite his room.

Berechiah and Elkanah were gatekeepers for the ark.
