Then said one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, who was preparing to betray him, Wherefore was not this aromatic ointment sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor? Now he said this, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and kept the purse, and carried the money put therein.
