And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh, and they said to them, LORD look upon you, and judge, because ye have made our fragrance to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness. And the sons of Israel said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we ate bread to the full, for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this who Then LORD said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not. read more.
And it shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. And Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, At evening, then ye shall know that LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt, and in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of LORD, for he hears your murmurings against LORD. And what are we, that ye murmur against us? And Moses said, [This shall be] when LORD shall give you flesh to eat in the evening, and bread to the full in the morning, for that LORD hears your murmurings which ye murmur against him. Ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi. And Moses said to Korah, Hear now, ye sons of Levi. [Is it] a small thing to you, that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of the tabernacle of LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister to and that he has brought thee near, and all thy brothers the sons of Levi with thee? And ye seek the priesthood also? Therefore thou and all thy company are gathered together against LORD. And Aaron, what is he that ye murmur against him?

But on the morrow all the congregation of the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of LORD.
And there was no water for the congregation, and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
They also envied Moses in the camp, [and] Aaron the sanctified of LORD.

And LORD said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp. And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as LORD commanded Moses.
