This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that any person may eat of it, and never die. I am the bread that giveth life, which came down from heaven: if any person eat of this bread, he shall live to eternity; and the bread indeed which I shall give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Then said Jesus unto them, Verily, verily, I tell you, It was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the real bread from heaven. For he that cometh down from heaven, and giveth life to the world, is the bread of God.
Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. Then said Jesus to them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst more.
I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and they are dead.
This is the bread which came down from heaven, not as the manna your fathers did eat, and died: he that eateth this bread shall live to eternity.
