I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that thou may live, thou and thy seed, to love LORD thy God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him, for he is thy life, and the length of thy days, that thou may dwell in the land which LORD swore to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Thou shall fear LORD thy God. Him thou shall serve, and to him thou shall cling, and by his name thou shall swear.
Ye shall walk after LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cling to him.
