And he made a house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, who were not the sons of Levi.

And he killed all the priests of the high places which were there on the altars, and burned men's bones on them, and returned to Jerusalem.
And the man Micah had a house of gods, and made an ephod and household gods, and anointed one of his sons, who became his priest.
And neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.
And Jehu killed all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his familiar friends, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
And he put down the idol-worshiping priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places around Jerusalem. He also put down those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of the heavens.
