With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she seduced him. He goes after her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till an arrow strikes through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare, and knows not that it is for his life.

Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures; Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither turn away from the words of my mouth.
The heart of him that has understanding seeks knowledge: but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness.
Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
