And, casting off the anchors, they let them go into the sea; at the same time loosing the bands of the rudders, and hoisting the fore-sail to the breeze, they were holding their course towards the beach. And, behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shined in the cell; and, smiting the side of Peter, he raised him up, saying, "Rise up quickly!" And his chains fell off from his hands.
