This is the bread which is coming down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eat of my bread, he will live for ever. Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, Unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life; and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live by reason of the Father; so he that eateth me, he also shall live by reason of me. This is the bread which came down from heaven; not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread will live for ever.
